WorkSource Clackamas partners with youth, local employers and members of the community to develop young peoples' skills, abilities, knowledge and experiences to prepare them for successful careers and lives.
Youth Job Search Services
Every Wednesday WorkSource Clackamas provides youth with extra support regarding:
- Job applications, resumes, advanced job searches, & career research
- FAFSA-Financial Aid Information
- I-MatchSkillls® Training—online job matching application
- Employment readiness trainings offered for various high schools & youth serving agencies.
- Site tours of WorkSource Clackamas facilities
Please Note: All tours or Employment Readiness workshops are by appointment only, and are scheduled around EMP hours in the WorkSource Clackamas Career Center to ensure space.
Youth Employment Lab (EMP E-Lab) Sponsored by C-TEC Youth Services
We offer employment services for youth 14-21 years of age. open to the general public, along with youth referred from various partnerships and youth serving agencies ( Drug Court, Project Payback, Juvenile Corrections, OYA, Alternative High Schools, Senior Internships, etc.)

C-TEC Youth Services

C-TEC Youth Services
Inspires, educates, and prepares the emerging workforce in Clackamas County. C-TEC Youth Services promotes a high quality system of Career and Technical Education and career related learning for youth. Through a coordinated delivery of services within educational institutions and youth serving agencies, C-TEC Youth Services helps youth address barriers, explore career and education options, and works together with youth to meet their goals. C-TEC Youth Services is funded through the Workforce Investment Council of Clackamas County (WICCO) and is a program under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). It is an eligibility base program, serving low income youth with barriers to employment or education. To qualify, youth must be residents of Clackamas County, between the ages of 14-21, be eligible to legally work in the U.S., and meet low-income criteria.

Job Corps
Works with youth 16-24 meeting eligibility requirements. Students have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma or GED, and learn employability and independent living skills. Students receive hands-on career training in more than 25 occupational areas including health occupations, construction-related fields, culinary arts, business and technology-related industries. They can also participate in on-the-job training at real work sites through work-based learning opportunities.
While enrolled in the program, students receive housing, meals, basic medical care and biweekly living allowances. Job Corps is a self-paced program and lengths of stay vary, students may remain enrolled for up to two years.
